Julio Iglesias, born in Spain, is the best-selling Latin music artist in history.

When Iglesias was turned down for the school choir as a boy, he took up soccer. He alternated between playing soccer and studying law until, at the age of 20, a car accident smashed his lower spine. During his hospitalization and recovery, a nurse gave him a guitar. He spent the long hours of his rehabilitation writing songs and learning to play music.
